I would hope that the controller would latch on to, and install the drivers "before" the array is configured, leaving no chance for rejection or possibly even the need for loading drivers during the OS install onto an array that by all my experience, should show up either before but still needs drivers to consummate the array the functional drives, or, simply list the array as an un-partioned drive, capable of being partitioned, or ready to load Windows to if chosen.
