I wasn't particularly expecting it to be well written, or even less, "enjoyable".

What I got was a three. I can't recommend purchasing this enough! I learned, I enjoyed, and will probably listen to it again. I took away three things from this book. I never new Donald Trump did all the things he did and yes they were unbelievable. It was a good listen and provided the insight!

My Audible purchases are all business, leadership and finance books and this fit right in. I thought that this is more about "how to make a deal" kinda book.

The book is about how he conducted some of his big deals. There are something to learn from but this was not exactly what expected. Anyways, if you are into real estate and wanna learn about Trump's career development, it's a good book. Do you hate Trump? Do you love Trump? Read this book to understand Trump. Now I get it. Why he does what he does. This is not, I will teach you how to make deals. This is, let me tell you a few stories and maby you'll learn something.

When I was first coming into this book I was thinking I was going to learn about how Trump as made his fortune on this 11 key principles that you learn in the book but, instead I was in for a more full back story on Trumps life and what he has done and all the deals his was able to make. In my opinion that was just as important as the key principles of making a great deal. Very little about deal making in general. Well read though. One great thing about this book is that it sets deals in a real context; not just academic or theoretical.

The narrating is done really well. Clear, easy to follow and in a manner which makes listening easy and enjoyable. A great incite into the business mind of Donald Trump. As I am studying for an MBA, this book was recommended as an alternative read to the course text books to offer an overview of real case studies covering many different business projects. Pleased that I didn't listen to the political bias of students that hate without digging deeper. I must say this book took me by surprise.
